According to the California Association of Realtors (CAR) February’s statewide median home price was $699,000, down 0.1 percent from January and up 20.6 percent from February 2020. Existing, single-family home sales were down 4.5 percent from January and up 9.7 percent from February 2020.

In real estate market news, houses are also selling very quickly… The median number of days it took to sell a California single-family home was 10 days in February down from 23 days in Feb 2020. This figure was one of the lowest ever recorded! Do you believe we are in a housing bubble? Comment below.

To give you a mortgage update, mortgage interest rates have continued to climb. The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.33% according to the Mortgage News Daily.
