I purchased three houses in Southern California as rental properties just prior to the outbreak. The first renovation is almost 100% complete with the second coming in hot and the third just beginning. This is not the most ideal time to rent out vacant property as the rental market might be a bit saturated thanks to short-term vacation rentals hitting the market as long-term rentals, but I will get these properties rented to high-quality tenants no matter what. To me, the big key in finding high-quality tenants is proper rental renovations, pricing, and proper pricing. This combined with solid marketing and all of these properties should rent, despite the outbreak. Sure, my renter pool might be cut in half, but there is still another half of the renter population hunting for a home – so I’m happy to provide quality and safe housing. In this video I walk you through some tips and tricks on 3 different properties that I’ve renovated. I also take special precautions due to the outbreak. And remember, property management is essential! (I believe!)
