Wasn’t supposed to be this long but will def give a follow up. There was a lot to talk about in how this happened and I also play the actual call that lead to this happening. We did technically get it for free, but all that means is that we took over the liability on the property and assumed the mortgage from the previous owner. That allowed us to take ownership of the property without having to put money down, pay transaction fees, closing costs or even an agent. This caused some problems as the bank wasn’t too happy, but in the end it worked out for everybody. I wanted to share this and rant about it because this whole situation was a great look into real estate investing, some of the complexities and what we do to provide value to people.
